Craft Project: Toilet Paper Roll Carolers

Our Thanksgiving Day craft is hosted by Gran, and it was fun to make these carolers with our cousins. For this project, you need empty toilet paper rolls, colored paper, small socks, and printouts of music paper.
Cut your colored paper to wrap around and cover the toilet paper roll. Make sure you use copy paper instead of card stock. If your paper is too thick, it is more difficult to keep it wrapped around the roll. You could also paint the roll instead of covering with paper. Cut an oval from a piece of flesh covered paper, draw your face, and glue it on.
We found pictures of song books and mittens and printed them from
the computer. But for mittens, you could also cut them from
pieces of printed or plain colored paper.
Cut out the mittens and song books. Fold the song book, then glue the fingers of the mittens to the song book like your caroler is holding the book, then glue the other side of the mittens to the body of your caroler.
Cut the socks at the heel. Use a small hair scrunchie to tie off the end
of the sock and place it on your carolers head to make a hat.

The girls give our carolers project two thumbs up each for this project.

Praise the LORD. Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise in the assembly of his faithful people. Psalm 149:1
